HISTORY OF THE ARTZAINAK GROUP
The first business, EBL Polyester, started moulding polyester in 1985, with 4 employees.
Today the Artzainak Group workforce is 248-strong, with 8 brands, sales worth 36 million euros and acclaimed expertise in several areas.
Artzainak is an industrial holding company, structured as activity-centred business units – aeronautics, building & public works, farming, oil and gas, and boating.
The group’s head office is in Mauléon-Licharre. Its identity, Artzainak, is the Basque word for “shepherds”. It was chosen not only for its reference to the Group’s rural and local roots, but also to emphasize the desire to create an industrial group governed by the same values.
